Man, this sucks. I'd also have a fight with my partner in this situation. Nobody wants to be responsible for stuff like this but in the end you have to own up to it. You always read about animals strangulating themselves by mistake but it's hard to believe until it actually happens. Somehow we always think they're smart enough to not do this. It's a hard lesson to learn but it'll never happen again, of that I'm sure. It must feel so humiliating to admit this to thousands of people. I'm proud of you for sharing the truth with your viewers. And I'm glad you got to talk it out with Becky. 💜

I definitely have to side with Becky on this one. When I saw the tiny incubator you put him in I literally shouted out loud, Nooooooo! LOL. I think Becky’s desire to afford him more room was wise, just sad and unfortunate that things played out like that. Glad y’all were able to talk things out.

dont give up i know sometimes its hard that happened to my baby water turtle i have been searching on youtube how to take care of one I got one it was so cute then the next day when my older brother was cleaning its tank my brother put the baby turtle in a plastic bowl and I have a dog that is mixed pug and poodle that likes to kill baby birds that learns how to fly I was sad so my dog was in the house I told my brother we shouldn't leave the dog in the house my brother wouldn't think that my dog will find the turtle because the turtle was hiding under a turtle climber but my dog found the turtle moved the turtle climber with her head and got the turtle took it to her dog bed and started to chew on it like a bone at first I didn't know what she was eating so I ignored her and when I went to check on the baby turtle it was gone I raned and saw my dog chewing on it I told my mom and brother they raned and took the baby turtle out of her mouth it was still alive but the shell was a little little cracked so I remember on a video that once a turtle shell cracks they can die because the shell is part of their body and bone I stayed home while my brother went to the store to buy medicine we put medicine and put a warm light for it the next day it was dead I was so sad and I was already attached to it so I barried it my mom just barrley bought it but i know i cant blame my dog its not my dog falt its just an animal that's their insinkt like cats but i should of known that my dog will do that but don't give up now i have two chickens that are 11 weeks old i toughed my dog not to eat birds and chickens and she listens to me and the chickens are best friend i have a cat to my cat are best friends with the chickens as well but i watch your video and i learn allot from you that's why my chickens are happy and healthy because of you my chickens said thank you to you all.

Definitely an unfortunate accident. No one could have predicted this, I think. While I definitely don't agree with everything that ends up being done, even I can fully agree that this was just an unexpected accident. I remember hatching 30 chicks,put in a small brooder,was cold that night so I put a heat lamp,instead of the regular 40 watt bulb I usually use,in the morning I went to check up on them and to my shock saw that every chick had died due to the heat lamp,and me putting a big towel on top to hold in the heat.Yep pretty sad emotional situations that only make us better at for seeing dangers.

Those thing just happen in farming. Its part of Gods will and you may not understand why right now or even but I hope you know it is part of Gods plan. Also the mortality rate of emus is like 50% which isn't very good in general so don't beat yourself up to much

my heart sank when i saw the towel, this is far from the first time i've seen this sort of thing happen. hindsight is an evil thing. i always say "couldve, shouldve, wouldve, *didn't* " can't go back in time, can't change it for then, but you can next time.

About the white emu could Bert have had any parasites that could have hurt or kill the emu?
